Junior High
FSM Junior High "Thirsty?" - Wednesdays, 5:30-7pm
“Thirsty” is our midweek program where Junior High students (7th & 8th grades) are invited to come hang out with friends, engage in worship and hear a word that is challenging and relevant. This is a great time for students to bring their friends. The first 30 minutes are filled with activities such as basketball, sand volleyball, ping pong, pool and a wide array of video games in the FSM Garage--the student space on the church campus. Students then gather for a time of praise and worship, lead by Student Worship Pastor Dave Hassell, as well as hear Biblical teaching from FSM Pastor Tim Caldwell.
TIM'S LETTER TO YOU...
What quenches your thirst? I love coke, orange juice, or a cup of hot Starbucks coffee. But if I just finished mowing the lawn in August I don’t want any of those. They are liquids, but they do not quench my thirst on a hot day like a glass of ice-cold water. I know for a fact that students are thirsty spiritually speaking; but so many are trying to quench their thirst with things other than Jesus.
Every Wednesday night from 5:30 – 7:00 pm Jr. High students are invited to come to THIRSTY? FSM’s mid-week service. At this service, students can come and quench their spiritual thirst with worship and hearing God’s Word (John 7:37-38). This is a great chance for students to bring their friends who may not know how great our God is. All new students who come will get a free drink and hopefully will have their spiritual thirst quenched as well. We will begin Thirsty? with plenty of hang out time and snacks. Don’t forget THIRSTY? meets on Wednesday nights in the FSM Garage. It is my hope that all Junior High students will come to Thirsty?
I’ll meet you there,
Tim Caldwell
FSM Lead Pastor
